What Does It Actually Feel Like to Be Shot? đ«
Morning Glocks!

Ever wondered what it feels like to get shot?
Letâs test, shall we?
Derd, come here!

Now, as the bullet hits and goes into Durdâs fleshâŠ

Many gunshot survivors don't remember feeling any initial pain.
They feel a little bit of pressure, but not much else (at least not yet).
Once the brain realizes that it's in danger
it pumps the body full of adrenaline:

This adrenaline gives you a little boost so you can escape from any immediate danger:

Ya, it's pretty crazy what youâre able to do after youâve been shot.
But after a whileâŠ

You get a strange numbness that radiates from the initial impact point.
Which quickly turns to an EXCRUCIATING BURNING SENSATION.

Many people say this feels like being stung by a giant wasp over and over againâŠ

Or a sledge hammer crashing down on you over and over againâŠ

So yea, uh.
Try not to get shot, I guess?
And lets thank Durd for being our little test dummy for today:
