..news flash: that’s not really how they died.

Because 66 million years ago we’ve got a rock THE SIZE OF MOUNT EVEREST hurling toward Earth:

It SLAMS into the Yucatan Peninsula

Creating this:

The Chicxulub Crater.

Now, bit of a bad luck spot to hit!

Because there’s allllll this limestone, sulfur, and oil

Which INSTANTLY vaporizes

Launching trillions of tons of molten rock into the sky

Ya lol true story.

The air around Earth starts BURNING.

It’s 500 degrees.

So any animal that wasn’t underground or underwater…

Boiled alive!
