Why do we even NEED baby teeth??

Because look, you’re born with all 52 teeth already in your skull:

And as a kid, your jaw is tiny:

So massive adult molars just won’t fit.

But around age 6 something crazy happens..

Ya, I said around age 6 something crazy is gonna happen..

Your jaw starts to grow

Your body starts dissolving the roots of your baby teeth

Anddd they fall out

Perfect for those big adult teeth to drop into place!

Then, apparently, some people have recurring dreams about all their teeth falling out for the rest of their life.

I wonder why..
